In order to enable enhanced profitability and sustainability of valuable resources in wastewater through integrated wastewater treatment and resource recovery, we are working on several topics:

(2) Impact of microplastics on biological phosphorus removal.
(3) Advanced composite forward osmosis membrane for valuable products recovery in wastewater.
(4) Antifouling membrane development for wastewater purification.
(5) Understanding microbial community structure of a novel biofilm bioreactor for biomass production.
(6) Bioaugmentation fundamentals and technologies for wastewater treatment.
(7) Anaerobic ammonium oxidation coupled with iron reduction.
