Dr. Di Wu is an Associate Professor in our center. He received his B.S. degree in Water Supply and Sewage Engineering from Xihua University (2011-2015) and his Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering from Chongqing University (2016-2022). He also has a three-year exchange student experience at the Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (2018-2021).
His primary research interests lie at the crossroads of microbiology, engineering, and biochemistry toward addressing the organic waste-environment-energy nexus. His researches focus on the process stability of anaerobic digestion of organic waste and resource recovery, including substrate pretreatment, exploring early-warning indicators, kinetic models, thermodynamic calculation, metagenomics, and metaproteomics.
