Dr. Lei Zheng is an Associate Professor in our center. He received his B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering from Southwest University (2008-2012), M.S. degree in Safety Science and Engineering from Southwest University of Science and Technology (2012-2015), and Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from University of Technology Sydney (UTS, 2018-2020). Prior to studying in UTS, he spent two years in University of Wollongong for doctoral study (2016-2018).
His research interests focus on the functional membrane design and intelligent membrane separation process and instrument development. He has secured the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Young Scholar) and the Special Research Associate Foundation from Chinese Academy of Science. He has been selected as the reviewer for the Environmental Technology & Innovation (Q1). He is also a member of Membrane Society of Australasia, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Society of Australia. So far, he has published 8 SCI papers.
