
Dr. Xingzu Wang is a Professor in our center. He received his B.S. degree from Liaoning University (1999-2003), M.S. degree and Ph.D. from Harbin Institute of Technology (2003-2009). His research interest focuses on wastewater treatment and resource recovery, including the bioaugmentation fundamentals and technologies for wastewater treatment, bioconversion of wastewater into single-cell protein and anaerobic ammonium oxidation coupled with iron reduction (Feammox). He has chaired more than 5 foundations such as National Natural Science Foundation of China (NNSFC), Special Project of Chongqing Technology Innovation and Application Development, and Soft Science Research Project of Sichuan. Recently, he secured a general program of NNSFC “Mechanism and regulation of Feammox mediated by organic ligands under neutral pH conditions” in 2020. He has published 25 papers and 8 patents.
