Prof. Shungui Zhou from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University was invited by our director Prof. Hong Liu to show his recent progress in electrochemical microorganisms. He presented an excellent talk “Observation and technique for the new system: photo-electrochemical microorganisms in the water and soil interfere”. During the workshop, he illustrated how to solve the key scientific questions, such as “mechanism of energy and electron transfer outside the cell”. He also mentioned that study about photo-electrochemical microorganisms is still on the early stage, which need further observation and simulation.
