Assessment on Technological Innovation and Demonstration Project of Chongqing was organized by Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau in Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology (CIGIT), Chinese Academy of Sciences on June 22^nd, 2022. The Project “Research and application of on-line microbial enhanced remediation technology for pond aquaculture water quality” supervised by Prof. Xingzu Wang was successfully completed and certified by the judges. This project was cooperated between our centre and comprehensive test centre of CIGIT.

To regulate non-point source agriculture pollution in Chongqing, this project aimed to improve regional water security and curb the non-point source contaminants from agriculture. This project has developed the online enhanced instrument for photosynthetic bacteria generation and regulation treatment for nitrogen and phosphorus in sludge based on the Feammox. In addition, this study also successfully demonstrated the integrated system of online bio-enhancing Fe tunable humic acid and in-situ single frequency electromagnetic wave. It realized the on-site remediation for pond aquaculture water quality and provided constructive perspectives towards simple upgrading of rural pond and effective regulations for non-point source agriculture pollution.
