There is a great news for our center. Prof. Hong Liu (Center Director) was elected as the Outstanding Scientist in Chongqing Talent Programme (2021).
Prof. Hong Liu is an award-winning scientist and technology developer who spent the past decades driving the transformation of electron in wastewater treatment into monitor, analytical, and intelligent devices for water quality analyzer, such as the rapid BOD detection. His research has been in the electrochemistry, environmental engineering, microbiology and interdisciplinary sciences. With his expertise in wastewater treatment, he has made many outstanding achievements in kinetic studies of electrochemistry in environmental engineering and instrument design, which shows promising perspectives on intelligent control for wastewater treatment.
